Our vision is bigger than a toy company

We are committed to community initiatives that give back to families in unexpected ways. Our vision is to encourage “expression through imagination”.

Our Initiatives

Community Partners are Key to Our Success

"Traditionally, CAA has partnered with mostly animal welfare related organizations and to partner with a toy company allowed CAA to explore a broader audience and focus on finding families for our many adoptable animals. The drive and passion Will demonstrated for our Lonely Hearts, dogs that have been at CAA the longest, was astounding and helped showcase these animals to members of our community." - Jillian Sergio, Executive Director Companion Animal Alliance
"We used the magnetic dough for Our Little Picasso’s class. They loved it!" - Robin McAndrew, Manager, BREC Arts Special Interests
"Our Museum guests were thrilled to have something so fun to take home as part of our Halloween Day in the Planetarium event! Tatro Toys helped make the day extra special at a time when everything is a little strange... and not in the spooky Halloween way!" - Frances Lee, Director of Communications, Louisiana Art & Science Museum

Tatro®: Hand-Built Magnetic Toys in partnership with Mestizo Louisiana Méxican Cuisine and sponsorship from local businesses will host Santa this Saturday, December 12 from 1-3pm in Baton Rouge.  The event is free and will be located at Mestizo Louisiana Méxican Cuisine, 2323 S Acadian Thruway. Take a free drive-by photo with Santa and enjoy a free Christmas-themed grab-and-go arts and crafts bag from local businesses. One craft bag per child.

The free grab-and-go gift bags will vary based on supplies but are expected to include coloring and activity sheets, craft pom-poms, foam, paper, cardboard, paints, chalk, pipe cleaners and beads. Participating local businesses include Borghardt Law Firm, BREC Art, Louisiana Art & Science Museum, Companion Animal Alliance, Firefly Jewelry.

North Pole News Station (N.O.E.L.) reported an accident at Santa’s Workshop. “Thankful” magic, the only magic known to power Santa’s sleigh, has trapped Santa in a magic picture frame. Because of this, he will remain inside the picture frame and behind glass during each visit. But children can help reverse the magic to save him before Christmas.

To reverse the magic and save Santa, families are first asked to register for the event. They can then fill out a wishlist and send thankful wishes before meeting Santa in person. These “thankful” wishes will set him free from the magic picture frame and power his sleigh on Christmas eve. Social distancing and all CDC guidelines will be followed. Masks required if interacting with others outside your household.

Special thanks to our amazing business sponsors:
